The Legend Of Wayne Returns May 12, 2005

That’s right, three out four original Union-jack band mates are back together. After four years Uj’s original Bassist, Wayne Keller, has decided to give it another go around. During Wayne’s extended musical vacation, he has had a variety of different endeavors, but none of which were musical.

When Wayne left his music in the back seat of his car, he left to peruse a long time dream of serving the community as a police officer. With the risks and dangers that are now present in the City of Baltimore, the hazards did not warrant the pay. Wayne decided to trade in the blue uniform for a red Ferrari and work in world of private investigation. As a PI, he performed many late night surveillances, dressed in costume, photographed cheating spouses, and even subdued a dangerous criminal in the midst of a robbery! With these accomplishments, he was looked upon with the likes of Tom Selleck and Don Johnson…. look out ladies!!!

As time went on Wayne became better at his job and was then promoted to management. Now limited to his time in the field, he was working long hours and sitting at a desk. He was missing the action of the fieldwork he had in the past. Overworked and underpaid Wayne decided to move on from his now not so exciting job as a private investigator, to a local bounty hunter working with bail bond companies; so much for illusion of the passive, easy going Wayne we used to know! Unfortunately for him that idea never made it off the ground, and he ended up working at his current job as a part time security guard by night, and a surveyor by day. Never the less he still is continuing his hunt for a more dangerous and exciting career in the life of bail bonds.

Now that Wane has decided to rejoin Uj he is cramming to learn music and trying and catch up to the rest of group. Once he has done that, Uj will continue to learn and write new music, as well as bring out some older songs from the original Union-jack set list. So far everyone seems to be excited that Wayne is back, I know I am! Uj has a lot of work ahead, and an addition like Wayne can only make the group better. Union-jack hopes to see everyone at their opening show which is estimated to be late in the summer of 2005.
Till then…. Rock On!
